I would like to delete my account but I don't know how.

    I miss-input my e-mail address while making my account,therefore I want to delete my account,then create a new one. Pls tell me how to.

    Katsutoshi,

    I can actually correct the e-mail address for you without deleting the account. I'll just need to know the incorrect address you entered and the correct one you need. Since this is a public thread, the addresses will be automatically censored, but I'll still be able to read them.

    Thanks. I have now edited the address and re-sent your activation e-mail, so you should get that in your inbox soon. Please use the activation e-mail to activate your account, and then you'll be able to make calls.

    Let me know if you have any more trouble.

    Okay thank you but no e-mail yet.

    Well since is you who take care of deleting whistle account, I think you can manage my account by a few update.

    I would then plead you to change my area code to (310) for me.

    that is all I had wanted to do but cannot do.

    I'm afraid I'm a bit confused. You should be able to change your number using the number change process. Are you having trouble with that?

    It looks like you initially signed up with no area code preference. Since that's the case, each subsequent number change does carry a fee of $7.99.

    I'm sorry, but I can't edit your location. Also, Whistle works the same way no matter where you are, so it shouldn't make a difference. Can you please tell me exactly what happens when you try to call? Are you getting an error message of some kind?

    well it says i dont have any minutes when i try to call local canada but it works in when i try to dial a number in the US.... since im canada i really cant use it

    Paolo,

    Thanks for elaborating. I'm afraid Canada does count as international, since Whistle uses US numbers only, so you'll need a balance on your account to call Canadian numbers.

    You should be able to auto-configure the app by clicking the "i" or "Account" button in the app and logging in that way. Let me know how it goes.

    I can do that, but since you only made your account a couple days ago, may I ask if there was a problem? If so, would you be interested in troubleshooting?

    to further explain. I have two daughters with iphones. an account was set up on iphone 1 then deleted. then iphone 2 used the Email and other info. Works fine. I went to put Whistle back on iphone 1. It says Email already taken. How do I really delete whistle off of 1 so I can re-install it?

    Only one account is allowed per customer, so that's why further sign-ups are blocked. Also, I actually find two accounts in your name already, one @yahoo.com and the other @me.com. I will have to delete one of those for good before I can help you with the other one, so please let me know which one you'd like to keep and which one I should remove.
