I have Whistle installed on my iPad. I use it to call friends in Mexico and it works great. When I am in Mexico and my iPad is connected to local Internet can I still call my friends In Mexico?

    John,

Provided the local Internet provider doesn't block VoIP transmissions, you should be able to call your friends just fine.

    Carlos,

I'm afraid not. El Salvador isn't covered by our ad-supported plan. Our rates page is here: https://whistlephone.com/rates

    Carlos,

I've already replied to this in your other thread. But yes, the new Whistle update will allow you to choose your own area code.

    Carlos,

We've already sent it out to the Apple store. It should be available in a few days.
