The next time this happens, could you please email [email blocked] with the device type you used, the number you called and the time you made the call? We will look into it.

    AJ,

Whistle is intended for use by humans only. We do not support that level of calling because a human would never be able to make that amount of calls in a day.

I'm using an iPhone and I can't make a call through my ISP but do fine with my parents ISP. Using 3G/E/GPRS is also fine except that after 1 ring the call is dropped. Question: Now that I know my own ISP blocks Whistlephone app, why does my other VOIP apps are working perfectly, I have 3 more VOIP apps on my iPhone and 1 on PC, so why is that?

    Bree,

This sounds like a router problem. We are working on router compatibility currently, but right now, the best solution is to make sure that SIP ALG (application level gateway) is disabled and that ports 5060 and at least some of ports 16384-32767 are open. There are online guides available for this kind of work; I'd recommend the ones found at http://www.voip-info.org/ .
