Whistle to Whistle not working
I recently registered a Whistle account on my iPod Touch and an account for my girlfriend on her iPhone. We're both located in Canada and unable to do Whistle-to-Whistle calls. I get a recording saying "I'm sorry but I cannot complete your call".

Hi,
Probably whistlephone support will not reply to your query. I've posted a similar question yesterday & got no response. It looks like it is a bug on thier end. It does work sometimes for me....

We currently aren't seeing any specific issues related to Whistle-to-Whistle calling. As far as I know, there aren't any outstanding bugs related to this.
I'm wondering whether the called party in this situation has the Whistle application running when s/he is getting a call. If the app isn't running, it won't be able to take the call and you'll get the message you mention above.
We're currently very, very, very close to submitting an update to the app that solves this issue using Push notifications. With this update, you'll get a pop up on your iPhone/iPad/iPod Touch indicating that you've got a Whistle call. This pop up will show you the caller ID number and give you the choice to take or reject the call.
If this isn't what's going on with your Whistle-to-Whistle calling, just let us know and we will take a further look.
