Call Fails on Windows PC
I just installed the software on two windows PCs When I attempt
to make a call the window pops up for my password and I type it in,
however the call fails and I get an error message "Call Failed
Proxy Authentication"
When I type in my password for the phone number and tell it to
remember my password it will not remember it. I always get the
above error message.
I have Whistle installed on my iPad and it works fine. Can you help
me get it working on the windows PC
Thanks
Russ

Hi
FYI I uninstalled Whistler and reinstalled. When I open the program it still shows my phone number and has the same problem it had before I uninstalled it. I wanted to try a new fresh installation to see what happens but it appears uninstall does not completely remove the program being that when I open it my number is still there and there is no option to get a new number during installation. I uninstalled and reinstalled the program twice. The first time I removed it using "Uninstall Programs in the Control Panel, the second time I used the "Windows uninstall clean up Utility. I had the same results with both methods.... Appears the program will not completely uninstall which makes it continue to show my number and create the same problem I have been having. Hope you can figure out a fix, I like the program on my iPad and would like to use it on my windows laptop
Thanks
Russ

Russ ... this may be a configuration issue. Open up Whistle/Windows, right click on the interface, select "Manage Account..." and login to the web site.
If your account setting was incorrect this process will correct it. If for some reason, your password isn't entered correctly, the web site login will fail.
Let us know if this works for you..
