how to configure Whistle on Fring or Nimbuzz on nokia XM5800

When I use the following setting on either Fring or Nimbuzz on my Nokia XM5800, it will not connect to whistlephone at all. Any clue?
username: whistle phone number (@whistlephone.com)
password: xxxxxxx
proxy: proxy.whistlephone.com

   JH,

   Technically speaking, Fring and Nimbuzz are third-party programs, and we can't guarantee that those will work in conjunction with Whistle. However, there is a helpful Fring tutorial for Whistle available here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dP57kGj1J-U

   Hey, Im trying to setup whistle in nimbuzz, i worked ok in fring, but in nimbuzz it doesnt et me input the user name without an @serviceprovider.com, but when I enter [email blocked], it wont register, can you please help me with this?

   When using numbuzz with Whistle, enter your Whistle number as the user name without @whistlephone.com.

   proxy.whistlephone.com is the domain.

   We've heard that that setup works, but, as Catherine said, this is not a guarantee. As third party services, they can make changes to how their services work that we at Whistle don't control.

   Nimbuzz doesn't let me input a username without @serviceprovider, thats the problem

   Our suggestion is to use

   [your whistlephone number]@proxy.whistlephone.com

   in that case.
