I'm trying to connect Whistle to my Astrisk PBX and need to change the password I've associated with my SIP account. I don't see any way to do that...

Currently the only way to change your password is if your Asterisk PBX responds to authentication request with a 401 or 407 message (following the SIP Protocol) and this will prompt Whistle to ask you for your password again.

We are providing the functionality to clear passwords from the Whistle settings menu in the next Whistle release. We do not have a specific date for release as of right now.

Let me know if you are not prompted for the new password after your Whistle client fails SIP authentication with your Astrisk PBX

Jonathan, we are addressing this issue in the next release of Whistle on the app store. I will notify you when this release is available for download. Sorry for the inconvenience.

I have the same problem because I originally entered the wrong password. I have attempted to uninstall and reinstall and still it does not ask me for a password. Very keen on trying the update; can you please notify me as well as to when it's available. Thanks!

Update just in ... password clearing functionality is in 1.11 which has been submitted to Apple. It’s now in Apple’s hands as to when the update will be available.
