can't make a call
Hi There
My name is Rahil & whistle phone number is 41971689. I downloaded your application & registered my whistle phone number on my iphone whistle application. I even topped up my balance, but for some reason i am not able to make any outgoing call. I can select the contact from the list, but when i tried calling I don't get any audio or any call connecting option. Can you please check, infact you can check my recent call history.
I am not a very tech savvy, so please assist me as i really wanna use ur services to call India frequently ;-)

Rahil,
It looks like you created your account before we implemented our current account model. Let me migrate your account to this new model and I will have you try making a call again.

Rahil,
I was able to make a phone call with Whistle using your account. Please try making a call in a different location to verify that your internet provider / wifi hot spot is not blocking VoIP traffic.

Thank you for your reply, but i really thought your services will work without any hiccups in a blocked country like UAE as your website is opening with the same connection, but as said it does shows my whistle phone number on the dial pad, which means its connected; however when i call there is no audio or ringtone of other party. How can I unblock the traffic on my iphone if it is getting blocked?!?!?!?

Rahil,
The website opens on a different port than the VoIP phone traffic. Most internet and wifi providers that block VoIP traffic just close the port that VoIP messages travel over, not all ports.
Were you able to try it on any other internet providers networks or other wifi hot spots ?
