I have upgraded to voice & text package for $9.99/month in order to receive bank verification codes. However, while I can receive regular text message from my friend (I asked my friend to test it), I don't receive SMS from my bank sending me a verification code. Is there any limitations of Whistle SMS service? Thank you for your time.

That you will have to ask your bank, there are some short code that may not come through. ask your bank if there are any systems that they are not compatible with.

The bank code is compatible with any cellular phone carrier. Which carrier does Whistle work with? Is there anything special about Whistle's text messaging compared with regular cellular phone text messaging?

according to what I do know is we are not able to be used for verification texting purposes. I know that is defiantly true with Google pay and other financial services. Being that you did receive the text from your friend, I can say definitely this is the case.

In that case, could you cancel my upgrade and refund the $9.99 to my account? The main purpose of adding text to my whistle phone is to get verification codes from banks and credit card companies. Thanks.

no right now you have 3.99 on the call portion which is the amount you use to make calls. the amount I would refund would be 7.99 the amount you used to upgrade to texting/voicemail.

I don't quite understand. I used $9.99 to upgrade to texting/voicemail. Did you mean that text portion cost $2.00 and you can't refund text portion?
